As we wrap up and reflect upon a fantastic year at Nielsen Fitness, I'd like to take a moment to wish our clients and friends a healthy, happy and restful holiday.
I'd also like to say a big 'thank you' to our clients - for choosing and putting your faith in us, and for allowing us to walk with you on your fitness journey. It is a tremendous honour.
As we do every year, Nielsen Fitness has made a donation to help local families in need this Christmas. This year we have put our dollars towards feeding the hungry through the Food Bank. Our donation will provide Christmas dinner for 300 people who otherwise would have gone without.
I'm signing off for a week of much-needed rest, relaxation and time with family (it will be a fun Christmas for us with a 1.5 and 3.5 year old in the house!) We're open for business over the holidays though - emails and calls will be answered, and training sessions are taking place. And all of us will be back in full swing as of Jan 1 - if you plan on tackling your fitness resolution once and for all this year, you know where to find us ;)
All my very best wishes for a happy holiday,
At this point in the holiday season, you’ve probably already done some indulging – and there’s lots more to come.
Although studies show that the average holiday weight gain is only a couple of pounds, they also show that most people never end up losing them – instead they accumulate year-after-year.
Here are a few ways to get through the festive season without packing on extra pounds.
