Mother’s Day is coming up, which has us thinking about the wonderful mothers in our lives. So I thought it made sense to talk a bit about them – and why it’s so important that they take a few hours every week to focus on their health and fitness.
If you’re a mom – especially in the early years of parenthood, which we call the ‘trenches’ chez Nielsen, this one’s for you.
Three reasons why mama needs – and deserves – regular workouts:
Unlike a class or a gym membership, we take the strategy, co-ordination, tracking – and even the travel – out of the process. Which means mom doesn’t have to worry about a thing – and can focus on nothing but herself and her own wellbeing for those precious 45 or 60 minutes every week. I’m willing to bet she most certainly deserves it.
