Tracy has always been passionate about health and fitness. She has a background in competitive field hockey and soccer and tries to incorporate physical activity into all aspects of her life. Her athletic background led her to pursue post secondary education in physical and health education at Queen’s University. She took numerous courses on nutrition, biomechanics, personal training and exercise physiology.
Following Queen’s, Tracy was accepted at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she is currently in her 4th year clinical internship. She continues to advance her knowledge of the human body and how training can improve performance or be utilized in a rehabilitation setting.
Tracy is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She also has her Active Release Technique (ART) ® certification, a soft tissue technique used to treat muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.
Tracy has also worked as an exercise counselor at a weight loss center alongside a nutritionist where she learned how to apply her knowledge of nutrition. During her time here she trained a wide spectrum of clients ranging from novice exercisers to experienced athletes.
Tracy is an excellent motivator, educator, and training partner who is committed to implementing healthy lifestyle changes for her clients and helping them achieve their personal fitness goals. |
